Since the foundation in Jun.2016, the construction project of Tianjin SK R & D Production Base (known as SK R & D) partially invested by SIH, has been staying in smooth progress and it will be completed in 2017, and in present, SK R & D adopted the simultaneous mode of production and construction. SK R & D accorded with the opportunity of integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, also the development of Xiongan New Area, deeply developing the Northern market, making full use of the geographic and policy advantages. It has created the conditions for the coordination between the southern company and northern company, and formation of globe-oriented pattern as well.

SK R & D is located in the airport development area in Tianjin Free Trade Zone, which is 13km from the center of Tianjin municipality, 38km from Tianjin harbor, 118km from Beijing, 140km from Xiongan New Area, thus it enjoyed the superb location and convenient transportation. The project covered the land of 20,798 sqm, and construction area of about 22,800 sqm, of which, the R & D center is 4,600sqm, workshop is 16,000sqm, office building is 2,200sqm. After the completion of the project, the technological development and production capacity as well as technical service of Shanghai SK will be effectively enhanced, realizing a significant step on advanced manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing.
