Mr. Kejian Lv, Economic &Commercial Minister of Chinese Embassy to Japan issued a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Yinfa Meng, President of SIH for the contribution made by the company in the economic and cultural exchanges between China and Japan for years.

Mr. Tiankai Cui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Japan, presents a certificate of merit to SIH for its contribution to the 2008 Beijing Olympic torch relay in Nagano.

At the century-old Hatoyama Hall, SIH organized Mr. Zesheng Chen’s Painting & Calligraphy Itinerant Show in Japan commemorating 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties normalization between China and Japan in Nov. 20th 2017, and Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, former Prime Minister of Japan, visited the show and wrote an inscription of “Friendship & Peace”.

Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, the former Prime Minister of Japan, and Mr. Zesheng Chen, was in front of calligraphy of “A virtuous person will never be alone, implying the eternal friendship between China and Japan.

Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, the former Prime Minister of Japan and Mr. Lang Bai, the honorary employee of SIH, also a famous artist.

Accompanied by Mr. Meng, President of SIH, and Mr. Zesheng Chen, an artist, Mr. Jun Zhou, President of SICC, visited Mr. Zesheng Chen’s Painting & Calligraphy show commemorating 45th Anniversary of Diplomatic Ties Normalization between China & Japan in the showroom of SIH in Nov. 17th, 2017.

SIH sponsored “China Festival” event in Tokyo for several times. China Festival of 2017 was held in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo in Oct. 21st, 2017 as scheduled. Mr. Yonghua Cheng, Chinese Ambassador to Japan made a video speech from Beijing, as well as Mr. Yasuo Fukuda, former Prime Minister of Japan and Mr. Uichiro Niwa, former Ambassador to China and Chairman of Japan-China Friendship Association delivered speeches successively.

The Embassy of People's Republic of China in Japan issued a note of thanks to SIH for sponsoring the "China Festival 2017" and providing strong support.

Cooperating with Koransha, the century-old Japanese porcelain manufacturer in 2017, SIH made a limited edition of souvenir cup celebrating the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties normalization between China and Japan and 25th anniversary of SIH foundation. The cups as the special gifts have been presented to the celebrities of political, economic, financial and cultural circles of Japan.

SIH and its subsidiary, Shanghai Jinjiang Restaurant sponsored the Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine Festival in Aug. 13th, 2017. This was third time for SIH to sponsor the event.

The Council of All-Japan Overseas Chinese Federation 2017 was co-organized by SIH in the Shanghai International Bldg in Jun. 25th, 2017. Mr. Hongyou Liu was elected as new Chairman of the Council, and Mr. Jun Wang, Consul General of the Chinese Embassy attended the meeting also delivered a speech.

The founding conference of Red Sakura Soccer Fans Club, the first overseas fans club of SIPG, was held in the multi-functional hall of Shanghai International Bldg. in Apr. 9th, 2017.

Organized by People’s Daily Network and China National Tourism Administration, co-sponsored by SIH and others, “Photography Contest Award Ceremony, for the photos taken by Japanese tourists in China” took place at the Chinese Embassy in Japan in Sept. 8th, 2016. Mr. Yonghua Cheng, the Chinese Ambassador to Japan awarded Grand Prize to Mr.Yusei Suzumura.

SIH sponsored the performance of China Philharmonic Orchestra in Japan in Nov. 2015

SIH cosponsored the performances of a opera named as “CHA” in Japan, inspired by the Shanghai World Expo 2010 on Aug.12th, 2010.
